PRAYER
Principles of religion and belief
1-
Monotheism : Means that there is one God
and has no partner.
2-
Justice : Means that God is just in
everything.
3-
Prophecy : Means that God sent
prophets to regenerate people.
4-
Leadership (Imamah) : Means that the prophet
(peace be upon his family and him) executed the Islamic nation to obey the twelve
(Imams) leaders after him:
-
Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Ali Zein Al-Abdeen (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Mohammad Al-Baqer (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Ja’ffar Al-Sadeq (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Mousa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Ali Al-Rida (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Mohammad Al-Jawad (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Hassan Al-Askari (peace be upon him).
-
Imam Mohammad bin Al-Hassan
Al-Mahdi, the awaited Imam (peace be upon him).
5-
Resurrection : Means life after death; as
those with good deeds (mo’mens) will go to heaven, and those with bad deeds
(kofar) will go to hell.
Parts of religion
-
Parts of religion are all the decrees of Islam.
-
Decrees of Islam include all aspects of life.
-
Any Moslem must know the Islamic legal decrees that
concern him.
-
The most important Islamic duty, after belief, is
prayer.

Ussali

Takbirat Al-Ehram
After the
intention raise hands up and say “Allahu Akbar”, and it is takbirat al-Ihram.

Then begin by
reciting sourat Al-Fatiha then another complete soura form the Holy Qur’an.
5-
Ruku (Bowing)
Then bow and

After standing
up steadily read Sourat al-fatiha and another soura (like what was done in the
first Rakaa)
12-Qunut
After reciting
sourat al-fatiha and another soura and before Ruku it is preferable to recite a
short Du’ae.
13-Ruku
Bow for Ruku

preferable to say: “Allahuma salli ala Mohammed wa ale Mohammed”.
18-Sit up after

Recite the
Tashahud and add the Tasleem :
“Allahu akbar,
ash-hado an-la-illaha illa -llah, wah-dahu la sharika lah, wa-ash-hadu anna
mohammad abdahu wa rasuloh, allahuma salli ala Mohammed wa ale Mohammed”.
The Tasleem is
:
As-salamo
alayka ayoha nabio wa rahmatollahe wa barakatoh.
As-salamo
alayna wa ala ebade-llahe as-saleheen.
As-salamo
alaykum wa rahmatollahe wa barakatoh.
In this way Morning
Prayer is over.
As for
Al-Magreb prayer; being three Rikaats, after the second Rekaa and Tashahud
don’t read the Tasleem, instead get up for the third Rikaa, stand still and say
three times: “Subhan -allahe wal-hamdo lelahe wa la-elaha ella-llaho- wa-allaho
akbar”.
Then bed for
Ruku and kneel for two Sjouds (as mentioned before) then read the last Tashahud
and Tasleem.
As for
Al-Dohor, Al-Asr and Al-Isha prayers, because each one of them consists of four
Rikaats (as mentioned above).
Then perform
the second & last Tashahud and Tasleem.
